Making Your Site Visible to the World
If you decide to host your site with me, it will be in my account with Media Temple. 
There, I will be able to quickly access it if problems should arise, and work with Media Temple if required, to fix the problem. I will perform regular backups of your site files, and those files will not only be stored on my system, but also off site with Amazon S3. With this much redundancy your site files will be safe. It's highly unlikely Media Temple, Amazon S3 and my dwelling will all crash and burn at the same time, unless Armageddon happens.
Custom Fonts
An option to use custom fonts exclusively on sites which I provide hosting for, that will render properly in the leading browsers, on both Windows and Mac OS X. This will give your site a unique look, and preserve the indexing of your site by search engines. Please see the font demo page which has more info as well
I keep up with all the latest techniques and technologies involved in web design and will suggest possible updates, based on relevance to your site. Incremental upgrades to your site are the easiest and least costly way to freshen up your site down the road. This could include adding additional content by adding more pages of info, adding/freshening photos of your establishment, changing some colors or font styles, etc.

By hosting your site with me, I can quickly fix typos, links that have stopped working, and make quick, infrequent changes you may need to make, such as a change in your business hours, contact info, etc.
Content Management System
The Content Management System (CMS) will allow you to easily make changes to specific areas of content on your site, using only a web browser, and with no chance you will damage the underlying code of your website. View this short video demo of the CMS. Available only on sites for which I provide hosting, and included at no extra charge.

Allow Me to Host Your Site, or Choose Your Own Solution.
Allowing me to host your site has many advantages. Exclusive options included in the hosting fee at no extra charge like custom fonts, and the Content Management System detailed above. Your site will be hosted on my account with Media Temple. You will have access to a very handy email control panel which allows you to adjust spam controls, change your password, and set up auto-reply messages. I can set up FTP access to a folder on your site which you can use to contain documents for download by your visitors, such as price lists or a PDF or your brochure.
You may, of course arrange hosting on your own. Once the site is ready, I will provide you with all the site files, and, if needed, I will assist you in installing the site files on your chosen hosting provider. However, I will then not be able to provide some of the options and services that would be included if your site were hosed by me, and no further assistance beyond that specified in the “Website Design Contract” would be provided.

Once the site is ready, I will provide you with all the site files, and, if needed, I will assist you in installing the site files on your chosen hosting provider. I use Media Temple for my own hosting solution. If you wish to provide your own hosting rather than host with me I would heartily recommend them. I also have an account with DreamHost that I use for development and testing. They have thorough documentation and their own unique control panel for account administration.
BlueHost is another popular host with all the usual features and their control panel is the widely used cPanel, of which they also have a demo at their site. Looking over the documentation, and playing around with the demo control panels will help you decide if you want to deal with hosting your site yourself, or if you would like me to handle it for you.
Cancel At Any Time
Hosting your site with me is on a yearly basis, and you can cancel at any time. You will receive a prorated refund of the remainder of your current year. So if you wish to start out hosting with me, and switch to your own provider at a later date, that's no problem.
